Baseball Stadium

DESCRIPTION:

A fast-track methodology was implemented to maintain the two-year schedule with a mandated construction completion date that would ensure the venue’s readiness for the opening day of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ 2001 season. Designed to mirror the iconic surrounding bridges, the steel arches are the focal points of the stadium’s exterior. Situated several hundred yards up the Allegheny River from where Three Rivers Stadium once stood, the new stadium provides an unobstructed view of the city skyline from the stands.
